Amanda

I am a registered dietitian specializing in Bariatric and weight loss nutrition, a fitness enthusiast, and a working mom of two. I am passionate about motivating, supporting and educating people to meet their wellness goals. I have worked in the field of Bariatrics and weight loss for the past 16 years helping thousands of patients reach their goals with and without surgical intervention. I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with even more people via my online programs. I am an avid reader and feel that the science behind weight loss, diet, and nutrition is always changing. This rapid change can create confusion and frustration with the average person trying to be successful at weight loss. My goal is to bring the latest, cutting edge strategies and techniques to my clients in the most concise and educational manner.  

I am a strong believer that dieting is temporary, something you start and stop. Therefore it is more important to focus on lifestyle changes to truly see long term weight loss success. My goal is to teach my clients simple yet effective lifestyle changes they can make and easily sustain to see lasting results. Success does not have to be about perfection but rather more consistency. I believe in implementing strategies that work in the real world, with real people, who lead real, hectic and often crazy lives.

I’ve been a registered dietitian for 18 years and in the weight loss industry since 2003. Jokingly nicknamed as the “renegade dietitian”, I have successfully helped to educate my clients on the true nutritional information they need to reach their wellness goals. It’s not only about eating healthy…it’s about feeling well so you can live well.

Fitness has always played a large role in my life. Growing up as a gymnast, I knew that strength and endurance were key components in having the energy to perform. Over the last two years I’ve helped coach a wide variety of people, from those who needed to lose a large amount of weight to those who needed to lose 10 pounds. I’ve worked with clients who want to get lean and those who just really want to feel better physically. Fitness isn’t just about reaching an outward goal for me…it’s my passion. You deserve to feel energetic and alive, I am here to help.
