It’s been a while since the kids were back in school every day…
Now that you’re back to the regularly scheduled program of life, sometimes making lunch for your kids just doesn’t fit the agenda, which means school lunch. As you could guess, most school cafeterias have very limited healthy options and most choices are full of empty carbohydrates and loaded with added sugars.
In LEAN, we are all about making nutritious dinners for your family throughout the week and fueling your body with healthy meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)—and I know many of you want your kids to get the same even when they aren’t home!
With a little planning, you can prepare wholesome lunches for your kids that are filling and delicious, and simple to make. Get the kids involved in choices and preparation and mix it up! Check out some of these back-to-school lunches that are colorful, well-balanced with whole foods, fun, and don’t require heating.
I promise, you’re going to want to eat these lunches too…
