LEAN For Young Adults is a version of the original LEAN program specifically designed for young adults and their lifestyles! The LEAN For Young Adults program focuses on intermittent fasting, carb cycling, whole food nutrition, and more just as the LEAN program does. The biggest differences encountered in LEAN For Young Adults are the ways the information is conveyed and the helpful tips added just for students. The information includes how to eat in dining halls, prepared food services and out at restaurants, how to manage alcohol, ways to grocery shop on a budget, and more! The age cut off for joining LEAN For Young Adults is 25 so everyone in this program will be of similar age and circumstance so we can all help one another thrive during this stage of our lives. This program is led by both Amanda Nighbert and Lauren Thornberry, a college nutrition student who helped fit the program to this age group’s lifestyle better and support them in the ways they need. Overall, LEAN for Young Adults is the perfect solution for young adults who are looking to live a healthier lifestyle and learn healthier habits to set their life up for success.
Lauren attends the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA and is currently studying Kinesiology, the study of the human body, in hopes of getting her doctorate degree in Nutritional Therapy or Functional Medicine! Being a college student, Lauren will understand exactly where you are coming from and how hard it can be to make eating healthy a priority in this period of your life. But don’t worry, she will help you manage everything from girls night out, to strict budgeting, to all the dining hall dilemmas you face because she has been there herself. This program will provide you with all the tools you need to figure out that eating healthy can be done no matter your situation, it may just require a few extra tools in your belt that we will provide you with!
